About the course
The Animal Welfare (Animal Protection Act 71 of 1962) sets out the laws relating to the prevention of cruelty to animals in South Africa. This includes the selling of animals as pets, the provision of boarding and breeding of animals and so much more. As a qualified and licensed inspector, your role will be to ensure that businesses and individuals are adhering to the legislation and that you take the necessary steps within the legal guidelines to enforce the Animal Protection Act and educate at all times.
